PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

During 2019 we carried out activities on general overhaul of steam turbine ZAMECH 18K248 manufactured by ALSTOM.

Overhaul included the following:

High pressure turbine HP: Uninstalling steam inlet line on top side (2 units) Uninstalling the top half of exterior housing, cleaning, inspection, dimension control.  Uninstalling interior HP housing and preparation of interior HP module for transport. Installing interior HP module after overhaul, installing the top half of exterior housing. Control of all measurements according to technical documentation during installation and uninstallation procedures.

Medium pressure turbine MP: Uninstalling steam inlet line on top side (2 units) Uninstalling top half of exterior housing, uninstalling top half of interior housing, uninstalling rotor and storing uninstalled part at proper locations.  Cleaning all accessible parts of MP turbine, inspection, dimension control and setting up. Installing rotor, top half of interior and exterior housing. Control of all measurements according to technical documentation during installation and uninstallation procedures.

Low pressure turbine LP1 and LP2: Uninstalling relief steam lines, uninstalling top half of exterior housing, uninstalling top half of interior housing, uninstalling rotor, uninstalling a part of blades. Setting up internal housing, cleaning all accessible surfaces, inspection, dimension control. Installation of blade parts, installation of rotor, internal housing, external housing g/p. Control of all measurements according to technical documentation during installation and uninstallation procedures.

Connectors HP/MP, MP/LP1, LP1/LP2, LP2/G: Uninstalling connecting screws, control of screws, centering connectors and installation of connector screws.

Rotor lines: Centricity check before uninstallation. Setting up entire line of turbine generator based on technical documents.

Valve chambers HP, MP and LP: Uninstalling servo drive and parts of valve chambers. Repair of uninstalled parts. Cleaning all accessible surfaces, inspection and repair, if necessary, of damages according to Contract, dimension control. Installation of valve chambers and servo drive. Setting up valve chambers connected to steam lines.

Turbine bearings 1,2,3,4,5,6,7: Uninstalling bearings, cleaning, inspection, dimension control and installation and setting up of new bearing, if necessary. Installing bearings.

Main oil pump – MOP: Uninstalling main oil pump, repair, uninstalling components, cleaning, inspection, replacing bearings and installing main oil pump.

Generator: Uninstalling generator, including covers, bearings, coolers, etc. Uninstalling rotor from stator using the special tools. Cleaning all uninstalled parts, cleaning and washing stator, visual inspection of stator interior, painting stator, inspection of cooler tigh
