PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
In order to improve boiler efficiency and increase unit capacity, and as a part of restoration of boiler in Unit 2 of TE “Nikola Tesla”-B, we performed the following activities:
- Replacement of evaporator (from ≈+72,6 m to ≈+112,9 m), with outlet headers cc 300t, evaporator panels with outlet headers and cc 160t of steel structures.
- Installation of additional economizer EKO 1A cc 683t.
- Installation of supply pipeline for the additional economizer EKO 1A cc 55t.
- Replacement of inlet and outlet units in the evaporator (pipes and tubes) cc 185t.
- Replacement of superheater 2, superheater 2 suspension tubes with the suspension system cc 50t.
- Replacement of connecting pipeline MP1-MP2 and MP2-MP3 with its suspension system cc 50t.
- Replacement of parts of flues, header casings, reconstruction of certain non-pressure equipment, parts and elements.
- Replacement of high-pressure injection piping cc 25t.
- Replacement (repair) of RA steam line suspension and part of suspension system of connecting steam line PP2-biflux cc 20t.
- Replacement of the unit, equipment and parts of old steam and water soot blowers.
- Replacement of valves on bypass high-pressure piping, injection piping in high-pressure bypass, two-way and three-way valves and all supporting valves.
- Mechanical removal of sintered deposits from heating surfaces.
- Activities related to placement of RA, RB and RC steam lines to designed locations.
Total of 53 628 welding joints on the following materials: 16Mo3, 13CrMo4-5, 15Mo3, 16M, 15HM, 10CrMo9-10, X20CrMoV12-1, X10CrMoVNb9-1, P256GH, X20CrMoV121, 15CrMoV1-10, 15NiCuMoNb5-6-4, 17G2MFA.
