Replacement of boiler heaters

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

In the period July 2014 January 2015 the following tasks were carried out:

• Replacement of EKO1, EKO 2 with PR1 and  chambers – Partial replacement of economizers 1 and 2 with inlet and outlet chambers and superheater 1 on the breakthroughs of the pipe bundles of economizers 1 and 2 through the front and back walls of the boiler;
• Replacement of PR2, PR3, PR5, MP1, MP2, PR1, chambers MP1 and output chamber MP2; replacement of interheater 1 with an inlet-outlet chamber and suspended pipes (PR2); replacement of interheater 2 with an outlet chamber; replacement of superheater 5 and the partial replacement of the superheater 3 and superheater 1 on the breakthrough of the pipe bundles of superheater 3, superheater 5, interheater 1 and interheater 2 through the front and back walls of the boiler.

The power of the block: 325 MW

The operating temperature and pressure of the fluids are: 430 °C/201 bar

Total weight of the replaced equipment: 750,000 kg

In total, 28,354 welds with dimensions between ф 32mm and ф 323.9mm
